About Learning Resource Centre

The Primary objective of our Learning Resource Centre is to provide information and knowledge to its students and staff through its document collection. Our library has been acquiring different type of documents and organising them for efficient usage. It also has a vast collection of reference books, textbooks, journals, magazines and encyclopedias on the subjects to cater to the needs and the requirements of the students, faculty and researchers.

The reading room is well furnished where 100 students accommodate at a time and provides conductive environment for study. Exclusive reference section is available in the library. New arrivals of books and journals are displayed on separate racks as well as institutional website.

Library as a total number of 2744 Volumes with 425 titles besides number of journals, magazines and online journals and databases are available.

Working Hours:
The Library functions from Monday to Saturday throughout the year except a few holidays of social and national importance.
  •       8:00 a.m      to   8.30 pm   (All Working Days)

The Library organised in to following sections.

  •  Competitive Examination Cell

Circulation Section
Books will be issued on produce of ID card. Students are instructed to check the books while borrowing and they will be responsible for any type of damage or mutilation noticed at the time of return. 

Periodical Section
Library has been subscribing a good number of periodicals (Journals/Magazines/Newspapers) to satisfy the academic and reference needs of the students and faculty.

Digital Library
The library provides facility of digital library through which online resources like e-journals, e-books, e-zines and other related information can be downloaded.

Reference Section
  1. Students are allowed to use reference sources only on produce of        their  authorised / valid identity cards.
  2. This section contains reference books such as Dictionaries, Encyclopedias, Handbooks, Directories, Atlases etc., and each copy of the prescribed text books and other recommended books which are prescribed in the syllabus.
  3. The syllabi and question papers pertaining to various courses offered in this college are collected and kept for the benefit of the students.
  4. Reference materials to be referred within the library premises only.

Clearance Certificate
All the students are required to return all the books after the completion of semester/year end examinations. Students will get their marks sheet only on producing "No-Dues Certificate" from the library.

Overdue Charges
Materials borrowed should be return or or before the due date stamped. If returned late overdue fine will be charged for the delayed period.

Book Lost
Books are to be handled very carefully. If the books are lost, then the borrower shall replace the books of the same edition 'or' latest edition 'or' pay double cost of the book after getting permission from the librarian.

Rules and Regulations
1. All the library users must sign in the Gate Register lying with  
    attendant/guard at the entrance.
2. Members while entering the library must show the I.D. card.
3. Members must produce ID card at the time of borrowing of books.
4. Strictly silence is observed and decent dress code is needed inside 
    the library.
5. All users are advised to Switch-off/ Silent mode their mobile phones 
    when they enter into the library.
6. While entering the library, users should leave their personal 
    belonging such as bags, personal books etc., at shelves provided in 
    the entrance of the library. The materials are to be kept at the 
    property counter at their own risk. 
7.  No discussions permitted inside the library.
8.  The librarian may recall any book from any member at any time and
     the member shall return the same immediately.
9. The borrowed book should be return on or before due date, if not 
     overdue charge of Rs. 1/- per day per students will be collected.
10. Members are not permitted to underline, write in, folding/tearing of
    pages or defaced books in any way whatsoever. if anyone is found
    doing so, he will be charged the full replacement cost of the 
11. All the members are requested to behave with decency and decorum.
     Any misbehavior in the library will lead to cancellation of 
      membership and serious disciplinary action.
12. Reference materials to be referred within the library premises only,
      not lent out the library.
13. Punishment and fine will be imposed in the case of any Damage or 
     Theft of library materials.
